Regent University
Regent University is an interdenominational Christian institution offering traditional classroom instruction as well as a comprehensive distance learning program. Regent is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and offers degree programs at all levels (associate's through doctoral).Regent is organized into eight academic schools and colleges. The College of Arts & Sciences, formerly called the School of Undergraduate Studies, provides undergraduate courses in Business, Christian Ministry, Christian Studies, English, Government, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Organizational Leadership and Management, Religious Studies, Biblical and Theological Studies, Communication, General Studies, Criminal Justice, History, International Business, Mathematics, and Psychology. Five of Regent's bachelor's degree programs--Mathematics, Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education), Theatre, Cinema-Television, and Animation--are only available on-campus.
Regent established its graduate program, geared toward traditional age full-time students, in 2006. The university is continually expanding and developing this program, in order to offer more degree programs and provide more facilities for its students.
Regent University is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and by the Association of Theological Schools.
