American University of Health Sciences
A diverse Christian school located in a small town near Los Angeles is American University of Health Sciences (or AUHS). Students from a variety of backgrounds can earn one of many degrees offered in the healthcare field. Types of degrees offered are Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, a Master’s of Science in Clinical Research as well as a Doctorate in Pharmacy.AUHS offers a large and expansive library as well as a huge online library to its students. In addition, students have career placement, student enrollment as well as financial aid services at their disposal. Financial aid is available to those that qualify in the form of grants, loans, scholarships or fellowships.
This multicultural, Christian college commits itself to humanitarian efforts. All students are encouraged and given opportunities to give back to their community often. In support of these efforts, the school will offer events geared in this direction. Some of these events include: toy, food or blood drives. In addition, students are offered school-sponsored trips to third-world, or other impoverished countries to give students the opportunity to use what they have learned to help those in dire need.
