Bethel Seminary in San Diego, California is a branch of Bethel University. Bethel is one of the largest accredited seminaries in the nation. The seminary is known for developing leaders that are prepared to serve when the time comes.Bethel offers Master’s, Doctorate and certificate programs in ministry. Students are able to choose an area of concentration ranging from community leadership to youth ministry.
Throughout the school’s history they have been affiliated with Converge Worldwide. Many of the graduates from Bethel are employed through this religious organization. However, in more recent years, the school has begun partnering with other Christian organizations including Campus Crusade for Christ and Young Life. Students from any denomination are welcome to study at Bethel. Women are also welcome to prepare themselves for ministry.
Bethel Seminary is an orthodox Christian organization with strong beliefs in scripture and personal faith. They work to help each student gain a strong biblical and theological foundation, strong leadership skills and personal and spiritual character. It is believed that with these foundations, students will be better prepared to endure a lifetime of ministry.
