California Culinary Academy
The California Culinary Academy was established in 1977 and is affiliated with Le Cordon Bleu. It no longer enrolling new students. The information below pertains to a program that is no longer available.The academy’s program in culinary arts takes less than 18 months to complete. The pastry chef program can be completed in around 30 weeks. The main campus is in Potrero Hills. They have student-staffed restaurants, a culinary laboratory, professional kitchens, and classrooms and a library.
This Academy is fully nationally accredited, but is not regionally accredited. Most universities will not accept transfer credits from California Culinary Academy. Regionally accredited universities usually won’t accept undergraduate degrees earned at the California Culinary Academy for entrance into their graduate programs either.
