Campbellsville University (CU) is a private Christian university offering associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Located in Campbellsville, Kentucky, CU serves a student body of over 3,000 students, many of whom come from all over the globe. Although the institution was originally established as Russell Creek Academy (a Baptist institution), and although the school is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, CU welcomes members of all denominations and doesn't require its students to participate in any specific religious services.In addition to its main campus in Campbellsville, the university has a satellite campus in Hodgenville (birthplace of Abraham Lincoln) and an off-site campus in Louisville.
U.S. News & World Report lists Campbellsville University among the "Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the South." CU was also named "America's Best Christian College" for the 2007-08 academic year.
Online Degrees at Campbellsville University
Campbellsville University, in cooperation with The Learning House, Inc., offers a number of degree programs which can be completed entirely online. This is a particularly convenient option for students who need flexible scheduling, or who simply prefer the independence of distance learning. CU offers four online associate's degrees: Associate of Science in Christian Studies, Associate of Science in Business Administration, Associate of Science in Criminal Justice, and Associate of Science in General Studies.CU also offers the following online master's degrees: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Arts in Counseling, Master of Arts in Social Work, Master of Theology (M.Th.), Master of Arts in Special Education (LBD) P-12, and Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. The university also offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Many of CU's online programs are accelerated, meaning students receive more intensive, focused instruction, and are typically able to earn their degree in significantly less time than through traditional program.
