Florida State University (FSU or Florida State) is a large, regionally accredited public university located in Tallahassee, Florida. Within Florida State, there are 16 colleges and over 110 institutes, facilities, labs, and centers. All together, Florida State offers more than 300 programs of study at all levels.Florida State is home to many important scientific and cultural institutions, including the John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art, the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (the only National Laboratory in Florida), the State Art Museum of Florida, and one of the United States' largest university/museum complexes.

Online Degrees at Florida State University
Online degrees and academic courses at Florida State are offered through the Office of Distance Learning (ODL). Online degree programs and courses are offered asynchronously (where students complete coursework at their own pace), synchronously (students log on at a certain time for lectures and discussions) or a mixture of online and on-campus study.Florida State offers several undergraduate degrees that can be completed entirely online. At the undergraduate level students may also pursue professional certificates and individual courses online. Many of FSU's online undergraduate degree programs have specific program prerequisites that must be completed prior to application.
In addition to online undergraduate degrees, FSU offers several graduate programs that can be completed entirely online. At the graduate level students can also pursue field specific professional certifications and complete individual courses online.
