Georgetown University
Georgetown University is a private university located in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Serving a student body of over 15,000 undergraduate and post-graduate students, Georgetown is the nation's oldest Catholic and Jesuit university. However, the school's students represent a wide variety of religions, ethnicities, and backgrounds, and come from 130 countries all over the world. In addition to its main campus, Georgetown maintains auxiliary campuses in Turkey, Qatar, and Italy, as well as a law center on Capitol Hill.Many influential and respected public figures went to Georgetown, including former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, and a host of governors, government leaders of several countries, diplomats, and royalty.
Georgetown University comprises several different schools. Undergraduate students pursue bachelor's degrees through Georgetown College, the Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business, the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, the School of Continuing Studies, and the School of Nursing and Health Studies. Graduate students pursue master's and doctoral degrees through the School of Medicine, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Continuing Studies, and the Law Center.
In addition to Georgetown's 48 undergraduate majors, students are given the opportunity to custom design their own courses of study, according to their personal educational and career goals.

Georgetown University now offers one of its premier master's degrees entirely online, the Online Master of Professional Studies in Technology.
