Mercy College of Northwest Ohio
Originally established in 1917 as the Mercy School of Nursing, Mercy College of Ohio is a regionally accredited institution providing training in the field of health sciences. Mercy College of Ohio, (formerly known as Mercy College of Northwest Ohio) was founded by the Sisters of Mercy. The college offers academic programs in health sciences, as well as one associate's degree program in General Studies. Mercy College of Ohio is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.Throughout its Distance Education Division and a state-of-the-art third party online learning system, Mercy College of Ohio offers its students the ability to earn a degree online via distance learning. Currently, Mercy College use the Desire2Learn (D2L) Learning Management System for online course deliver. Mercy College online offers flexible online program designed for busy working professionals and adult learner who are unable to attend campus full time.
