National Hispanic University

Residing in San Jose, California, the National Hispanic University (NHU) was founded in 1981 by Dr. Roberto Cruz, who wanted to make education available to Hispanic men and women. He studied the impact of education with the Black community and wanted to make similar changes to allow Hispanic community members to have opportunities for education. What once started in Oakland moved on to open another campus in San Jose. In 1994, NHU consolidated into the single campus in San Jose.

National Hispanic University offers many of its traditionally campus-based degree programs entirely online. Online Degree programs include and MBA, M.A. in Education, M.A. in Early Childhood, B.A. in Business Administration, B.A. in Child Development, B.A. in Criminal Justice and B.A. in Psychology. Online degrees at NHU are flexible, convenient and engaging.
