Soka University of America
Soka University of America (SUA) is a liberal arts university in Aliso Viejo, California. It is organized into a four-year undergraduate liberal arts college and a graduate school focused on ESL Teaching.Students of the undergraduate college earn a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, and can choose an area of emphasis from the following options: International Studies, Environmental Studies, Social & Behavioral Sciences, and Humanities.
Students of the graduate school earn a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Societal Change.
Soka University requires all undergraduate students to study a non-native language, and offers courses in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and French. All undergraduate students study abroad for one semester in a country corresponding to their chosen language. The cost of studying abroad is included in tuition.
