University at Albany-SUNY

The University at Albany, State University of New York (more commonly referred to as the University at Albany), is a research university enrolling over 17,000 students across three campuses in New York. The Uptown Campus is located in Guilderland's McKownville neighborhood, the Downtown Campus is located in Albany, and the East Campus is located in East Greenbush.

The university offers 50 undergraduate and 128 graduate graduate programs across nine academic colleges and schools. Many of these programs are in emerging fields such as nanotechnology, biotechnology, public policy, globalization, informatics, and documentary studies. In addition to its undergraduate and graduate training, the university is also highly involved in community outreach and academic research.

There are over 500 study-abroad programs available to students, as well as numerous internship opportunities throughout the city of Albany. The university recently established an Honors College, which gives students the opportunity to work closely with faculty in highly focused programs.

University at Albany-SUNY Online Degree Programs
For student unable to attend University of Albany SUNY campus based programs, they have the option of pursuing a degree online. Online degree programs at SUNY University of Albany do not have residency requirements, nor do student need to attend campus classes. The University of Albany offers fully online master degrees in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology, Childhood Education, Reading, Public Health and Early Childhood. Online certificate programs are offered in Online Learning and Teaching and Public Health Fundamentals.
