The Wright Institute
The Wright Institute, which hosts its campus in Berkeley, California, has adapted its programs to the needs of its students for many years. Areas of faculty, philosophy and leadership have gone through many changes to better benefit the educational needs of the students. In 1995 the school became APA accredited in its PsyD program. That resulted in curriculum and faculty changes. Recently, the institute has also created a Masters program in Counseling Psychology.The school is fully accredited, specifically by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). The school’s Doctor of Philosophy, Clinical Psychology degree program and Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology degree have also earned accreditation.
