University of Michigan School of Nursing
The School of Nursing at the University of Michigan is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor School of Nursing is one the nation's top nursing schools. By the early 2000s, the school was ranked 5th in the nation among hundreds of accredited nursing programs by U.S. News and World Report. While the programs at the school continue to evolve and change, it remains one of the top nursing schools in the United States. It recently built a 75,000 sqft School of Nursing building and launched a new Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree program.Michigan has many high-ranking nursing programs. The School of Nursing Master’s degree program has been ranked in the top six by the U.S. News & World Report. Many of the school’s other Master’s degree programs have also ranked in the top 10 in the U.S. Some of these include: Nurse Practitioner (Adult and Family), Nursing-Midwifery, and Nursing Administration. All baccalaureate and master’s level nursing programs are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and approved by the state’s Board of Nursing.
